FAQ's - Henna Spa Tint

WHAT IS A HENNA SPA BROW TINT?

Henna brows are a for of eyebrow tinting that is used to stain the skin beneath the brow hairs. The purpose of this is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any sparseness. Henna is a natural dye made from a plant known as Henna or the Henna tree. It has been around since ancient Egyptian times when it was used for many purposes such as dyeing hair, clothes, fabrics and make up.

Henna tinting helps to make eyebrows more expressive, disguising gaps in plucked or receding eyebrows and the spa-care makes it possible to achieve a maximum result from tinting, as it makes the effect from the treatment last longer as well as strengthens and protects the hairs and skin.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NORMAL TINTING AND HENNA BROWS?

Tinting lasts around 1-2 days on the skin and 5-7 days on the hair, where Henna brows will last up to 14 days on the skin and up to 4 weeks on the hair.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Approximately 45 minutes.

WHY DOES HENNA FADE?

Henna is a natural permanent dye and it will fade only as the skin regenerates a new epidermis which is our outermost layer of lhe skin. If the skin is newly exfoliated at the time of application the skin stain will be much less as the Henna doesn't have as much skin to absorb into. Oily skin will have less retention than dry skin.

DOES THE HENNA COLOUR CHANGE OVER TIME?

The henna colour once applied will not change to any other colour. Often the Henna Brows are darker the first day. This will diminish over the following days. The colour can only lighten but will not change in colour tone.

CAN A SKIN BE TOO OILY FOR EYEBROW HENNA?

When the skin is really very oily, we would recommend a regular tint because it simply will not catch on.

CAN MEN DO THIS TREATMENT?

Of course!
