FAQ's - Brow Lamination

Brow Lamination is a new trend in the brow industry, originating in Russia. It's the best procedure for taming tough and unruly hairs as it sets them in place so every hair lies in the same direction, giving a just-combed effect. The ultimate solution for eyebrows that do not have symmetry, where the hairs follow a different pattern. We can realign the brows in such a way to give them the desired shape you want, and a fuller look. A new brow treatment without the needles!

WHAT IS THE BROW LAMINATION PROCESS LIKE?

Brow lamination is basically a perm for your brows, as it gives them a set, uniform shape for an extended period of time. Instead of curls, a setting lotion helps brow hairs stay brushed up and lifted upward. The actual process starts off by painting a litting cream onto the brow, which creates a chemical process that breaks down bonds in each hair. allowing them to be moved into a new shape.

Next, he brow hairs are brushed up into place, and a neutralizer is applied to refor the bonds into their new shape. A nourishing oil is then added to the brows to replenish their moisture after the chemical treatment process.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

The process is 1 hour, and results from the treatment last 6-8 weeks.

DOES BROW LAMINATION DAMAGE YOUR BROWS?

While brow lamination is very safe and does not cause damage, be sure to chat with your brow technician if you have sensitive skin, as chemicals can be imitating when used near a delicate area, such as the eyes.

WHAT SHOULD YOUR BROWS LOOK LIKE AFTER LAMINATION?

After the procedure, your eyebrows will look thicker, fuller, straighter and combed up into the ideal shape. They should look like the ultimate groomed, brushed up eyebrows.

The idea is that you won't have to use a pencil to draw in the shape anymore.

WILL THE RESULT BE NATURAL?

BROW LAMINATION VS MICROBALDING

Brow Lamination and Brow Microblading have similarities, especially with the full and flawless end results. The distinction with Brow Lamination is that it focuses on a client's natural eyebrow hairs. In a brow lamination service, the client's natural hair flow is disrupted to achieve the desired look. Microblading is considered to be a semipermanent tattoo. Results can last anywhere from I -3 years.

DO I NEED ANY MAINTENANCE/ AFTERCARE?

This is a low maintenance treatment although you do need to take care of your brows once you have had them laminated. You don't want your brows drying out as this can cause them to become brittle and break (the same way your head hair gets dry and frizzy after perming or colouring it without any aftercare, your brows do need looking after too). Your Brow technician will be able to recommend a good after care serum for you.

I WOULD LIKE TO GET MY LASH LIFT DONE, CAN I DO IT AT THE SAME TIME?

Yes, the Lash Lift is a great treatment to complement the Brow Lamination treatment. A Lash Lift is a chemical treatment that can lift, curl or straighten and lengthen your own natural lashes, making them appear thicker and fuller and giving you a fresh, bright-eyed look. It is a revolutionary update on the Lash perm, using silicone pads instead of perm rollers to avoid the outdated 'dolly look' and provide you with a dramatic yet natural-looking enhancement. The Lash Lift takes 45 minutes to an hour in a safe and pain-free process.
