WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?

Microneedling involves using a derma stamp pen. It is a simple procedure that uses very fine needles to break down old scar tissue and stimulate collagen production.

New collagen leads to the formation of new skin tissue.

HOW DOES MICRONEEDLING WORK?

A needling device is used to penetrate the skin. This will create thousands of micro wounds. Your body responds to the wounds by producing significant amount of collagen and elastin fibers. As a result, this will rejuvenate your face by filling in wrinkles and scars.

WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT CONSIST OF?

The Ireatment includes cleaning and numbing the skin. A derma stamp pen with microneedles is used to produce thousands of micro punctures in the skin. Vitamin-C serum or Hyaluronic acid are applied after the treatment to enhance skin renewal and collagen growth.

WHAT WILL I LOOK LIKE AFTER TREATMENT?

Immediately after treatment, your skin will feel warm and light. It will also be pink or mildly red as if you were out in the sun for a while.

WHAT IS THE DOWN TIME?

On average, patients are red up to 2 to 3 days. Many patients heal completely in as iffle as 24 hours.

HOW LONG BEFORE I SEE RESULTS?

Typically, you will see results after the first Ireatment. Lasting and more significant results will occur after 4 lo 6 treatments (spaced 4-6 weeks apart). Your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments and when combined with the recommended post treatment care.

HOW SOON AFTER FILLER & BOTOX INJECTIONS CAN I HAVE MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS?

We recommend that your Fillers & Botox should be done 7 days after your Microneedling treatment. Should you have already done your Fillers & Botox, bruising from the Fillers or Botox must settle before having your Microneedling treatment done.
